Jen, Josh, Joseph, Kiara (the daughter of our friends), and I went to Hofuf for the day. Jordan got to stay home with Rona. I have posted pictures on Flickr. For those that are interested in some history of Hofuf, someone wrote an interesting article back in 1974, Al Hasa: Outpost of Empire, for the publication, Saudi Aramco World.
Here is a photoset on Flickr of our trip to Half Moon Bay on the Arabian Gulf. This spot is about 35 minutes from our house. We went with three other families. The water was a little cold, but what do you expect from January.
